Our organization’s new project to produce 1,500 tons per year of nickel alloy materials is located 250 meters east of Airport Road, at the Yunhe Shengbai Gas Station in Lücheng Town, Danyang City. On February 28, 2023, the project received approval for its environmental impact assessment (Document No. Zhen Dan Huan Shen [2023] No. 64). Due to adjustments in the construction plan, this phase will initially bring online a production capacity of 1,000 tons of nickel alloy materials, along with the corresponding environmental protection facilities.

A brief introduction to the current situation of high-temperature alloys in the country.
High-temperature alloys are widely used in both military and civilian industrial fields, serving as key materials for manufacturing engine and gas turbine hot-end components. The demand from national defense construction and strong support from the government continue to drive the development of the high-temperature alloy industry, presenting a broad market prospect. Introduction to high-temperature alloys: High-temperature alloys refer to a class of alloys that are generally based on iron, nickel, or cobalt, capable of resisting oxidation or corrosion at temperatures above approximately 600°C, and can work for a long time under certain stress conditions.

As March begins, a significant news in the nickel market has caused a "huge shock": Tsingshan Holding Group announced the progress of its high-grade nickel project in Indonesia and signed a supply agreement for high-grade nickel with Huayou Cobalt and Zhongwei Co., Ltd. The three parties agreed that Tsingshan will supply 60,000 tons of high-grade nickel to Huayou Cobalt and 40,000 tons to Zhongwei within one year starting from October 2021. After the announcement, Shanghai nickel prices fell continuously last week, barely holding above the 120,000 yuan/ton mark.

Since March 2021, influenced by the news that Qingshan will sell 75,000 tons of high-grade nickel products, nickel prices have plummeted sharply, with Shanghai nickel and London nickel both falling below 120,000 yuan/ton and 16,000 dollars/ton respectively. Where do high-grade nickel products come from? Why does the news about high-grade nickel have such a significant impact on nickel price trends? The following will provide a detailed analysis.

Characteristics, types, and uses of nickel-based alloys
Nickel-based alloys refer to a class of alloys that have high strength and certain oxidation and corrosion resistance at high temperatures ranging from 650 to 1000°C. They are further subdivided based on their main properties into nickel-based heat-resistant alloys, nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloys, nickel-based wear-resistant alloys, nickel-based precision alloys, and nickel-based shape memory alloys. High-temperature alloys are classified according to their matrix into iron-based high-temperature alloys, nickel-based high-temperature alloys, and cobalt-based high-temperature alloys. Among them, nickel-based high-temperature alloys are commonly referred to as nickel-based alloys. Representative materials of nickel-based alloys include: 1. Incoloy alloy, such as Incoloy 800, which mainly consists of 32Ni-21Cr-Ti, Al; it belongs to the category of heat-resistant alloys.
